User may enter/paste any text. If you don't know where to find japanese text, try stuff like syosetu , which has free web novels.
How to find story on syosetu?

- Go to syosetu

- There's gold / silver / bronze crown on links, (those are top stories in the genre selected on the panel above.)

- Open them (it will now show synopsis page for that story).

- click the chapters under the synopsis. (You can also copy the synopsis to read that)

- copy text and come back.

- click "help read sentence" and paste in big text box.

I kept running into simple "ohayogozaimasu" level apps or overly heavy linguistic explany apps so I made this.

It's simple, works offline, can be installed as PWA, and helps read novels in peace.

can close and return to it, it remembers what sentence was last being explained. It can paginate few MBs of text so stuff won't crash if you are reading something big.
